How a number is verified The ILS Name Matching Technology compares the submitted file information against our telco verified in-house nationwide residential and/or business database to detemine if the name, address, and phone number belong together.
What's the difference between verifying and appending phone numbers? Verification jobs are charged per input record. Verification includes a code for each existing phone number along with inserting a new phone number when appropriate. For example, assume a record has an existing phone number and the verification process found a different phone number for that person at that address. The new phone number would be inserted into the added phone field and the code "C" would be inserted into the code field.
