Residential & Business Phone Append Our phone append service is powered by the ILS Name Matching Technology. We do not offer manual phone number lookups. Appending success varies on address quality and data aging, but can be as high as 85% for residential files. Our customers tell us our accuracy rate is around 80%.
Our accuracy rate is higher for phone numbers matched against physical addresses than those matched to PO Boxes. However, our accuracy rate on numbers matched to rural PO Box addresses is almost as high as those numbers matched to physical addresses in more urban areas.
How can I get the best match rate possible?

Customers decide which level of matching fits their needs. While the name only match has a low confidence rate, it can suit a call centers need for the maximum amount of phone numbers appended. Our data set does not include phone numbers issued by Internet phone providers like Vonage or cell phone numbers.
Update Area Codes The new area code will be automatically inserted into the existing phone number without changing the phone number format. This service is terrific if your region has recently split area codes or has introduced new ones.
In the phone appending industry, a "hit" means a phone number was found and appended to a record. A "No Hit" refers to a record where no match could be made between the record in the target file and the source file. A "No Hit" can occur if one of the conditions illustrated in the table above exists in a record and the matching algorithm cannot deal with imprecise matches.
Intelligent Lookup Services initially developed their algorithm for "No Hit" files. Customers that previously used only a primary lookup service may find 10%-30% more prospects using our algorithm on their primary phone appending run.
