FILE TRANSFER METHODS

We accept files through our Secure Site encrypted web channel, as email attachments, or compact disks. Benefits of using the Secure Site include protecting file information and no limits on file size. Files under 8 MB can be sent as email attachments. Email your file today

Secure Site accounts are free to open and use! Call (240) 243-4457 ext 121 to register for an account. Please have the company name, address, phone number, contact name, and contact email handy to instantly activate the account. Files are stored for up to six months free of charge.

To access the Secure FTP Site, click on the "Client Login" button in the top right corner of the ILS website.

How to Upload a File to your Account:

1. Click on <dir> Uploaded Files

2. Click the "Browse" button next to the text box.

3. Search for the file to upload and click open. The file name should appear in the FTP text box.

4. Click the "Upload" button next to the text box to place it in the directory. Do not close Internet Explorer or Firefox until the file name appears on the screen.

5. A confirmation email will be automatically sent to your User ID after the file is received.

How to Download a Processed File in your Account:

1. Click on <dir> Processed Files

2. Roll the mouse pointer over the file name until it changes color.

3. Right click the mouse and select Save Link As.. or Save Target As..

4. Choose where on the network to save the file.

5. Click "Save" and do not close the internet window until the file has been completely downloaded.
